Jim Diamond

The Scottish singing and writing star is sounding better than ever. Jim 'n' Snake have been touring acoustically and soulfully for some years now, just the two of them, playing Jims hits, some classic soul covers and whatever heartfelt melodies they fancy getting their teeth into….

Helen has a unique style and strong distinctive voice, crossing the boundaries between jazz blues and folk.

The Suspicions

Twenty years ago, in the student bar of Leeds Polytechnic, "Snake Davis and his Alligator Shoes" were born . a soulful unit playing sax versions of Stax, Motown and Atlantic classics. They went on to be embraced by the Northern Soul scene. They lit up the Astoria Ballroom and Central Station, Leeds as they played to some of the most passionate and committed music-loving crowds anywhere in the world.
The passing years have scattered the individual Band members to various parts of the world but the nucleus of, Snake, Bass man "Dangerous" Dave Bowie and Guitarist, Mark Cresswell come together every year or so to back visiting American soul stars.
At the end of last year the three decided to re form the SUSPICIONS (a storming 8 piece with Brass and girl singers ) and take to the road doing their OWN show again for the first time in 13 years! Come and see what all the fuss is about . expect to be dancing, swaying or slithering in your seats as they storm through Wigan classics and beautiful Soul ballads.

Pocket Central

Snake as special guest with Manchesters funky and fiery 8-piece (inc. 4 man brass section!)
